CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CIZE® LIVE- a dance class for dancers as well as anyone who’s ever wanted to learn to dance. This isn’t one of those dance classes where you just shuffle your feet to the beat. Created by Shaun T, world- famous choreographer and fitness trainer, CIZE LIVE breaks down professionally choreographed dance routines, step-by-step, so that anyone can dance! It’s so fun it doesn’t feel like a workout—but it will burn serious calories like one.

COUNTRY HEAT®- Created by fitness celebrity, Autumn Calabrese, this high-energy, low-impact, and easy-to-follow dance workout is perfect for all fitness levels. So whether you’re a dance newbie or you’ve already got great moves, you’re gonna love stepping it up to the hottest country hits around!

CYCLING- Challenge your mind and body through this bike workout! By raising and lowering intensity through speed and resistance, this class is sure to leave you wanting more. (Please no long baggy pants) YOU MUST SIGN UP AT THE FRONT DESK TO ATTEND A CYCLING CLASS! Will be back in the Fall.

INSANITY®- Are you ready to DIG DEEPER?? Created by fitness celebrity, Shaun T, one of the best-selling home workout DVDs is now a group fitness class that will challenge you to go past your comfort zone and get INSANE results! Can everyone do this class? YES YES YES!! There are modifications for every move in INSANITY® and you control your level of intensity. Let’s do this!

P90X® LIVE- We KNOW you’ve heard of the BEST-SELLING home workout DVD series, P90X®! Now here’s your chance to BRING IT and get a “healthy” mix of this results-driven program every week! Get ready to do strength training exercises and cardio drills in sequences that will get you past your plateau! The only way to continue seeing results is to train for them! MODIFICATIONS GIVEN- no excuses!

PiYo® LIVE- Take your workout to the next level with this mat, yes I said MAT, class!! Think of it like bootcamp with your shoes off! Created by fitness celebrity, Chalene Johnson, PiYo® LIVE is inspired by Pilates & Yoga but is 100% original. It is suitable for ALL because of the many different modifications. POUND®- Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.

R.E.D Warrior™-  A kick-butt workout fusing martial arts and fitness that redefines what you believe you are capable of. Turbo Kick®- Created by fitness celebrity Chalene Johnson, creator of Turbo Jam®, Turbo Fire®, & PiYo® DVDs, this class will maximize your workout with ab sculpting moves and fat burning cardio! Filled with boxing, karate, hip hop and funk! Come join the party and possibly burn up to 1000 calories a workout!

ZUMBA®- Created by celebrity fitness trainer, "Beto" Perez, ZUMBA says, “Ditch the workout and join the party!” This class is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! ZUMBA utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

ZUMBA Toning™
- This awesome class blends body-sculpting techniques and specific ZUMBA moves into one calorie-burning, strength-training class. Participants use weighted, maraca-like ZUMBA Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and build strength.
